Country Store - Farm, Pet & Home Retail Sales Associate Stevensville, MT The Country Store features products in lawn & garden, pet, feed, hardware, livestock, seed, animal health and clothing. Country Stores serve farmers, homeowners, businesses, families and communities in Washington State, Coeur d'Alene, ID & Stevensville, MT. Ideal candidates will possess a high level of initiative, discretion and independent judgment, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. Candidates should excel in identifying things that need to be done and figure out a way to do them effectively and efficiently.

• JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and interact with customers.
• Organize and effectively merchandise items for sale.
• Demonstrate and explain merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers' needs.
• Utilize customer-focused selling skills, add-on selling, closing skills, and other sales generating skills.
• Accurately complete sales using the point-of-sale system according to established procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges.
• Monitor all merchandise for correct location assignments, accurate and clean bin labels, expired products, and stock rotation.
• Assist customers by loading and unloading products as needed.
• Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse.
• Assemble products and displays.
• Safely perform propane dispenser operations.
• Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Windows
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently.
• Lift, carry, push, pull and load up to 60 pounds.
• Have a proven track record of being dependable and reliable.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment to excellence especially in terms of providing outstanding customer service SCHEDULE This is a part time position; 16-32 hours per week (schedule may vary). Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $16.80 - $19.80/hour.
