Job Description * Job Title:* District Sales Manager FLSA/Grade: Exempt/Salary Reports to: Director of Sales Department: Sales Position Summary: The District Sales Manager plans, directs, and oversees the operations and fiscal health of a business unit, division, department, or operating unit within an organization. The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading the work of a group of people. The District Sales Manager is also responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within a business unit. The position of District Sales Manager is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall not be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one workweek. * Essential Duties & Responsibilities: *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Manage sales operations in the assigned district to achieve revenue goals. * Supervise sales team members daily and provide guidance whenever needed. * Identify skill gaps and conduct training for the sales team. * Work with team to implement new sales techniques to obtain profits. * Assist in employee recruitment, promotion, retention, and termination activities. * Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvements. * Contact potential customers and identify new business opportunities. * Stay up to date with customer needs, market trends, and competitors. * Maintain clear and complete sales reports for management review. * Build strong relationships with customers for business growth. * Analyze sales performances and recommend improvements. * Ensure that the sales team always follows company policies and procedures. * Develop promotional programs to increase sales and revenue. * Plan and coordinate sales activities for assigned projects. * Provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. * *Competencies: * Oral Communication Skills * Written Communication Skills * Customer Service * Customer Relations * Organization * Professionalism * Time Management * Sales Technique * Math skills * Negotiations * Presentation * Closing Technique Supervisory Responsibility: * None.
