Job Summary We're looking for a Retail Sales Representative to service and grow business in the Independent Grocery Market. This role focuses on store visits, distribution checks, merchandising execution, void/fill opportunities, new item introductions, and building strong relationships with store leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field. Key Responsibilities * Visit assigned independent grocery stores on a regular route schedule * Check distribution, shelf conditions, and in-stock levels; complete distribution reports * Identify and fill voids/out-of-stocks and help drive reorders * Present and work in new items using sales surveys and store-level selling * Support store sets/resets and merchandising projects as needed * Build rapport with store managers and key department contacts * Submit weekly reporting on: * Stores visited * Voids identified/filled * New items presented and survey results * Key wins/opportunities and action items Qualifications * Retail, merchandising, or route-to-market experience preferred (grocery experience a plus) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Organized, dependable, and able to manage time/route planning effectively * Comfortable using basic reporting tools (email, Excel, mobile reporting, etc.) * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Travel & Expenses * This is a territory/field-based position and requires regular travel to stores * Company reimburses gas and travel-related expenses.
