Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Cabinet Sales / Showroom Assistant to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients in our showroom, assisting with product selection, and supporting sales initiatives for high-end cabinetry and interior design solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for interior design, and experience in retail or sales environments. Multilingual abilities and knowledge of renovation, remodeling, or construction are highly valued. Responsibilities * Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting cabinetry, lighting, and related interior products * Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of features and benefits * Utilize SketchUp, CAD, or lighting design tools to assist clients with layout planning and design concepts * Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities * Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, and order processing * Collaborate with clients on remodeling projects, offering expert advice on renovation and interior design options * Maintain showroom merchandising standards by stocking displays and organizing product samples * Support marketing efforts through product demos and promotional events * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally * Assist with account management tasks such as follow-up communications and client record keeping Experience * Prior experience in outside or inside sales, retail sales, or customer service is preferred * Knowledge of cabinetry, renovation, construction, or interior design industries is a plus * Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, lighting design, or layout design tools is advantageous * Multilingual skills are beneficial for serving diverse clientele * Strong negotiation skills and ability to upsell products effectively * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and product presentation * Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in English; additional languages are a plus * Basic math skills for retail math calculations and POS transactions This role offers an engaging environment where creativity meets sales expertise.
