Full description of the position
Overview A company specializing in custom die-cut components, sealing solutions, and acoustic products primarily for the automotive industry is seeking a proactive and highly organized Sales Account Manager who will manage one or more automotive Tier 1 customer accounts. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. This role requires a detail-orientated individual who can handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Duties * Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Identify new sales opportunities and actively pursue new business. * Provide accurate forecasts, sales reports, and account updates to management. * Respond quickly to any customer requests, ensuring accuracy of data and quality of the response. * Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends. * Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and other events as required. * Generate team cooperation through consistent communications both in team meetings and in individual contact with company personnel. Required Skills/Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to travel domestically and internationally * Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in a related field. * One to two years of account management experience and/or training, with a direct OEM background. * Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
