Job Title: On Premise Sales Representative Department: On Premise Sales-Tri Cities Summary Knoxville based Wine and Spirits Wholesaler is looking to add an On Premise Sales Representative to service the Knoxville and surrounding areas. Sales are business to business oriented and results will rely heavily on candidate's ability to quickly build relationships and dedication to servicing accounts. Full-time position. Must be able to travel throughout the sales territory, visit customers, receive and transmit customer orders. The customer base is an established account base which consists of bars, restaurants, hotels and clubs. As a sales representative, you are responsible for achieving and exceeding goals for spirits, wine, non-alcoholics and hemp sales within your territory. Must ensure product representation and excellent customer service. Performs other duties as assigned. * Position Duties include, but are not limited to: * Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled callback days along with corporate account calls * Follow procedure and achieve all sales goals * Develop, maintain and expand existing brands within the portfolio by providing extensive customer service, including making sales presentations, coordinating promotions, seminars and conducting product tastings and staff training. * Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve long-term goals and opportunities. * Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment. * Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office and Human resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude. * Attend all sales meetings promptly with enthusiasm. * Keep up with tracking goals and administrative detail * Always show professionalism in all areas * Attire * Conduct * Time Management * Proper and thorough follow through * Sales presentations and proposals * Customer relationships * Carry out all phases of job responsibilities as directed by their sales supervisor. * Other duties assigned On Premise Sales Rep Minimum Job Requirements * Must be at least 21 years old. * 2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred). * Good oral and written communication skills. * Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint ) * College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required * Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematics, time management and organizational skills. * Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment. * Must be able to lift 40 lbs. * Must possess valid TN Driver's license. * Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations. * Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations * Background Checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks) * Motor Vehicle Record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility: * Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: * Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph) * Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years * Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years * Drug Free Workplace. * EOE. * The working schedule varies; the candidate must understand there may be late night and weekend events he/she will be expected to attend. * Candidates will be expected to keep account files updated and current (files to include account history, wine lists and drink lists and any other important information that is needed to manage territory). * Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Disability insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In personBeverage Control, Inc.
