Sales Representative - Metro Detroit Company: Woodberry Wine Location: Metro Detroit, MI Position Type: Commission-Only, Full-Time About Us: Woodberry Wine is a growing, dynamic wine portfolio company dedicated to delivering exceptional wines to on-premise and retail accounts across Michigan. Our team is passionate about connecting the right wines with the right customers and driving growth through strategic portfolio management. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to cover the Metro Detroit territory. This is a high-energy, commission-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a results-driven, entrepreneurial environment. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and execute territory strategies to maximize revenue and portfolio growth. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow a portfolio of on-premise and retail accounts in Metro Detroit. * Introduce new wines, execute tastings, menus, and BTG programs to increase adoption. * Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and account teams. * Execute strategic sales plans with a focus on account segmentation, territory optimization, and the 80/20 rule. * Meet or exceed sales targets and track performance metrics. * Collaborate with the Woodberry Wine team, including drivers and support staff, to ensure smooth deliveries and account satisfaction. Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years of wine sales experience preferred; on-premise account knowledge strongly preferred. * Passion for wine and desire to grow your product knowledge (WSET or Somm certification a plus). * Proven ability to grow accounts, manage multiple priorities, and execute strategic plans. * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Metro Detroit territory.
