Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with product displays, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, sales ability, and familiarity with retail operations. The Sales Associate will play a key role in promoting products, upselling, and maintaining an organized sales floor.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Upsell additional items to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractive
• Manage stock levels through stocking shelves and inventory management
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Assist in supervising store operations when needed, including supervising other team members during shifts
• Ensure proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
• Support the team with basic retail math for transactions and inventory counts

Qualifications

• MUST BE 21 & OVER
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, similar retail environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers effectively
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and cash handling tasks
• Supervising experience is desirable but not required; leadership qualities are a plus
