About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive sales and provide expert technical support for our cylinder products. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, coupled with exceptional communication skills, to build strong relationships with distributors and direct accounts. Your expertise will ensure customers achieve maximum efficiency and productivity with our solutions. Responsibilities * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current distributors, collaboratively setting sales goals and optimizing market coverage. * Identify and secure new business opportunities with direct customers, OEMs, and national accounts, expanding market reach. * Apply comprehensive knowledge of our cylinder product line to recommend optimal solutions based on customer needs and applications. * Conduct sales meetings and training sessions for distributor personnel, educating them on product offerings, technical updates, and market opportunities. * Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on sales and marketing initiatives. * Develop and execute an annual goal plan to achieve net sales and profit targets. * Manage sales expenses within approved budget guidelines. Qualifications Required Skills * Proven ethics, values, integrity, and trustworthiness. * Strong action orientation and problem-solving skills. * Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). * Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred. Preferred Skills * Extensive experience selling hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder equipment. * In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, customer requirements, and cylinder equipment performance. * Familiarity with territory sales management and business development. * Experience in both outside and inside sales roles.
