Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in non-automotive sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and foster long-term partnerships. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industries through market research and networking. * Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals. * Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. * Lead negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness. * Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software such as Salesforce, tracking progress from prospecting to closing deals. * Coordinate cross-functional teams on project management initiatives to ensure timely delivery of solutions. * Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs. * Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities or threats. Skills * Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within non-automotive industries to include thermoforming, injection molding and urethane processes. * Proficiency with CRM software, particularly Salesforce, for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines. * Strong strategic planning abilities to develop actionable growth initiatives within packaging. * Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals. * Effective project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and internal teams. * Knowledge of marketing principles to support lead generation efforts. * Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into strategic actions. Minimum Experience and Education Requirements * Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, sales, or related field, packaging a strong plus. * Five or more years of business development experience * Technical sales experience is a plus * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite * Strong sales and negotiation skills * Proven track record of building new relationships and achieving sales goals * Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills Industrial, Agricultural, Heavy Equipment and Healthcare segment experience is highly desirable. * Experience with plastics packaging & blueprint reading is a plus. * Must be an independent, proactive, and self-motivated person who will offer exceptional service to our customers Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health savings account * Prescription drug insurance * Retirement plan Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pittsburgh, PA 15205Nefab Group
