Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and sales, with the ability to create a positive shopping experience. Duties * Assist customers with product selection and provide product demos to enhance their shopping experience * Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented * Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales opportunities * Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing phone etiquette when applicable * Support store operations through basic retail math, including calculating discounts and totals * Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when required, ensuring smooth store operations * Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for all shoppers Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred * Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively * Bilingual abilities are a plus, aiding communication with a broader customer base * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is desirable * Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette * Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as stocking shelves and merchandising * Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately * A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week Work Location: In person
