Job Summary: This position is responsible for acquiring new business and retaining existing customers within the Ready-Mix Industry. Major Responsibilities/Activities: * Achieves sales volume through product promotion and direct customer contact * Cross-sells new applications to existing customers * Proactively tracks and manages sales-related activities in assigned territory * Understands and communicates the value of products and services to the customer * Investigates and/or provides technical information and assistance to potential and existing customers * Works effectively with Customer Service, Plant, QC, and Accounting personnel to ensure customer satisfaction * Performs credit and collection duties to minimize outstanding receivables * Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer's expectations regarding quality and service * Ensure that all employees are working efficiently and consistently with company policies and guidelines * Maintains existing relationships and develops new customers through consultative selling Minimum Requirements: * Sales experience in Ready Mix industry preferred but not required. * Demonstrated track record of sales success * Exceptional communications skills, including written and verbal * Excellent organizational skills * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office * Knowledge of local construction industry, concrete mixes and specifications Valid driver's license Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
