We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team and support our Clear Lake office. Job Description: In this role, you'll be the driving force behind bringing in new contracts and expanding our client base. Your primary focus will be on outside sales and securing new business, making connections with real estate agents, brokers, loan officers, developers, and other contacts that have the ability to control the selection of a title company for real estate transactions. You will also need to develop a group of referral partners who work together to promote each other's services. We're looking for someone with a strong background in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for helping clients. This role offers a competitive base salary with an attractive commission structure, providing significant earning potential for high performers. Key Responsibilities: * Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. * Consultative Selling: Understand clients' needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. * Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of closings. * Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with real estate professionals, and industry stakeholders. * Adding Value For Your Clients: Continuously work to provide value for your clients including offering responsive service, CE classes and other training sessions, as well as helping new agents understand the title process. * Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company. * Collaboration: Work closely with the Escrow and Processing teams to ensure smooth and efficient closings. * Marketing Tasks: Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness of our services including managing social media, email campaigns, etc. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales or similar role in the title or real estate industry. * A proven track record of meeting activity standards as well as achieving quota on a consistent basis. * Ability to establish and manage relationships from the initial point of contact with a prospect, through the initial sale, and ultimately leading to predictable repeat business with the customer. * Strong understanding of title products and the real estate industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. * Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
