Hiring for a Sales Rep in Tri Cities and Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol proper. * Empire Distributors Inc,* A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Retail Wine*Sales Representative*. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Sell fine wine, beer and non-alcoholic products to supermarkets, drug stores, convenience stores and package stores * Learns and executes the seven basics of Empire: distributions, position, display, pricing, point-of-sale, cold box, and rotation in each account. * Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product. * Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained. * Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules. * Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems. * Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. * Identifies and respond to customers' needs. * Maintains frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers and the general manager. * Prepares and/or maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case quotas and dollar objectives and other administrative tasks as assigned. * Executes sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards. * Tracks progress of goals on a weekly basis. * Participates in supplier work-withs. * Continually maintains training and product knowledge. * Delivers emergency orders when needed. * Attends trade show. * Conducts business according to local and state laws. * Other duties as assigned by District Manager. Education and/or Experience * Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations * TN ABC Wholesaler's Employee Permit * Valid Driver License * Automobile Insurance - 100/300/50 minimum limits of liability.
