We're looking for a personable, enthusiastic insurance account manager to help take our agency to the next level. You will manage client communications, nurture important relationships, and keep track of policy details and documentation in a secured system. This is a critical role on our team with a strong focus on client services to foster ongoing sales and renewals. Apply now!Compensation: $111,000 - $123,000 yearly Responsibilities: * Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates * Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies * Document any policy changes on customer accounts according to NAIC regulations in our book of business and clearly communicate with customers about those updates * Give clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding * Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process all documentation reporting a claim on a current policy Qualifications: * We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor's degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as well * Applicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days * Candidates should be very strong communicators and problem solvers, and have great follow-up skills * Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required, training will be provided if your talents are a good match * Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) About Company Sherrill Insurance Agency partners with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies to market and sell their products.
