Full description of the position
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our fire and life safety sales team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your negotiation skills and business development expertise to build lasting client relationships and expand our market presence. Duties * Attract and convert construction/project prospects into new customers * Maintaining a qualified funnel of opportunities, achieving new order/booking and profit goals consistently * Develop tailored solutions for clients by understanding their needs and aligning our offerings accordingly * Utilize ServiceTrade or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies relevant to our products and services * Provide technical sales support by explaining product features, benefits, and integration capabilities * Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to develop account strategies and achieve sales targets * Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in sales processes Skills * Strong negotiation and communication skills essential for closing deals and building client relationships * Proven experience in business development, life safety or technology sales environments * Familiarity with ServiceTrade or comparable CRM platforms for managing customer interactions and pipeline tracking * Technical sales expertise with the ability to explain complex products or services clearly to clients * Excellent analysis skills for interpreting market data, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics * Effective warm calling techniques to generate leads and initiate conversations with prospective clients * Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to make an impact in a competitive market while developing their career in sales leadership.
