In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting home owners with a lower energy bill and to start the process for owning their own power, with a rooftop solar system. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: As a Solar Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential customers in NJ, DE and PA. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our solar/energy offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly. Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers. Qualifications: * Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory. * Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers. * Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. * Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers. * Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.
