We are recognized as one of the largest lighting and home furnishing stores in Oklahoma, committed to inspiring customers with quality products and exceptional service. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates specializing in Lighting & Furniture to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their home improvement journey, providing expert advice on lighting solutions and furniture selections. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create memorable shopping experiences while driving sales and fostering lasting relationships. We are open 6 days a week, closed on Sunday, so a flexible work schedule is required. Our salespeople work 5 days per week and average between 35-40 hours per week. Rotating weekend availability is required. Our starting pay is about $20 per hour plus the opportunity to earn 5% commission on furniture category sales. Your total pay could exceed $75K per year plus great benefits. We provide medical, 401K and vacation benefits. Duties * Assist customers in selecting lighting fixtures, furniture, and decorative hardware that meet their needs and style preferences * Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and installation options * Process sales transactions accurately using retail math skills and POS systems * Cultivate strong customer relationships through personalized service and follow-up * Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications * Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within home furnishings or lighting industries * Excellent communication skills * Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude * Demonstrated ability to engage customers with enthusiasm and professionalism * Knowledge of retail operations, including POS systems and selling techniques * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming homes through beautiful lighting and furniture solutions!
