Location: Detroit Metro / Southeast Michigan Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance bonus (not commission- only) About Us We are an established architectural hardware company supplying high-end residential and design-driven hardware to designers, builders, and showrooms. Our products are positioned in the luxury and trade professional market , and we are expanding our local presence throughout Southeast Michigan. We're hiring a field-based Outside Sales Representative to put our products directly in front of the firms and showrooms that specify and sell premium hardware. What You 'll Do This is a relationship-driven, in-person sales role , not retail and not phone-only. You will: * Visit interior design firms, architectural hardware showrooms, kitchen & bath showrooms, millwork shops, and builders * Introduce our product line and brand story * Present samples, finishes, and catalogs * Secure product displays, vendor approvals, and trade accounts * Build long-term relationships with specifiers and showroom staff * Coordinate with our inside team for quotes, follow-ups, and orders * Track visits and opportunities in a simple CRM Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for someone who: * Has outside B2B sales experience (industry experience is a big plus) * Has worked in or sold to design, construction, kitchen & bath, lighting, plumbing, or architectural products * Is confident walking into showrooms and professional offices * Is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently * Prefers relationship sales over high-pressure commission chasing Who This Is NOT For * Retail-only sales backgrounds * Inside-only or phone-only sales reps * Commission-only sales seekers * Entry-level applicants without field experience Territory * Detroit Metro * Ann Arbor * Birmingham / Bloomfield * Grosse Pointe * Royal Oak / Ferndale * (Toledo optional, based on experience) Compensation & Benefits * Competitive base salary * Performance-based bonus * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Product training and support * Long-term growth opportunity with a stable company How to Apply Apply with your resume and a short note explaining: * Your outside sales experience * Industries you've sold into * Why this role fits your background Why This Role Is Different This is not a churn-and-burn sales job.
