Job Overview Gloria Horn Sewing Studio is looking for a confident, friendly, and motivated Machine Sales Specialist / Educator to help customers choose the right sewing or embroidery machine, provide support after purchase, and teach through both in-person events and online livestreams. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, loves being on camera (or is willing to learn), and can explain machines in a clear and encouraging way. Key Responsibilities Machine Sales * Assist customers in selecting sewing and embroidery machines that fit their needs and budget * Demonstrate machine features and explain differences between models * Follow up with interested customers and help close sales * Maintain a professional and welcoming sales experience Education + Events + Livestreams * Teach or co-host in-store classes, events, and live demos * Participate in livestreams (Facebook/live shopping style) to showcase products and machines * Help prepare project samples and machine demo materials Customer Support * Help customers with basic machine operation, troubleshooting, and product questions * Provide guidance on accessories, feet, stabilizers, thread, and add-ons * Support customers after purchase so they feel confident and successful Qualifications Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Comfortable working with customers one-on-one and in groups Confidence speaking on camera (or willingness to learn) Sales experience is a plus (retail or commission-based sales preferred) Dependable attendance and professionalism Preferred * Sewing, quilting, or embroidery experience * Experience with sewing/embroidery machines (Brother, Baby Lock, etc.) * Teaching, coaching, or training experience We will train the right person who is eager to learn.
