Overview

Gloria Horn Sewing Studio is looking for a confident, friendly, and motivated Machine Sales Specialist / Educator to help customers choose the right sewing or embroidery machine, provide support after purchase, and teach through both in-person events and online livestreams. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, loves being on camera (or is willing to learn), and can explain machines in a clear and encouraging way.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Sales

• Assist customers in selecting sewing and embroidery machines that fit their needs and budget
• Demonstrate machine features and explain differences between models
• Follow up with interested customers and help close sales
• Maintain a professional and welcoming sales experience Education + Events + Livestreams
• Teach or co-host in-store classes, events, and live demos
• Participate in livestreams (Facebook/live shopping style) to showcase products and machines
• Help prepare project samples and machine demo materials Customer Support
• Help customers with basic machine operation, troubleshooting, and product questions
• Provide guidance on accessories, feet, stabilizers, thread, and add-ons
• Support customers after purchase so they feel confident and successful

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Comfortable working with customers one-on-one and in groups Confidence speaking on camera (or willingness to learn) Sales experience is a plus (retail or commission-based sales preferred) Dependable attendance and professionalism Preferred

• Sewing, quilting, or embroidery experience
• Experience with sewing/embroidery machines (Brother, Baby Lock, etc.)
