Join Our Team as a Marine Parts Manager! Southeastern Marine, Yacht Power and Boca Ciega Marine Center are building Florida's premier manufacturer-authorized marine servicing dealerships. We're seeking a highly organized, knowledgeable, and motivated Marine Parts Manager for our parts department operations. This department ensures technicians and customers receive accurate, timely parts support as well as ship/receive parts, manage inventory and other responsibilities as assigned. This is a hands-on leadership position perfect for someone with marine industry experience, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. While previous management experience is preferred, we will considered candidates who are experienced in marine parts and very ambitious and passionate about learning. Additionally, will considered an experienced parts manager who does not have marine experience, but is familiar with boats. Key Responsibilities: Lead the growth of retail and wholesale parts sales, including: * Over-the-counter walk in sales * Phone and email sales * In-person visits to existing wholesale customers or developing new/future wholesales customers, truly lead growth our parts business * Assist customers directly with counter sales and special orders, providing expert guidance. * Coordinate with service writers and operations team to ensure work orders are supported with the correct parts in a timely manner. * Serve as the liaison between service technicians and vendors for all parts-related needs. * Responsible for daily operations of the parts department including ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory control. * Source and quote OEM and aftermarket parts for marine diesel engines, outboards, generators, propulsion systems and internal supplies as needed * Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage reordering of high-turn and critical components. * Develop and implement processes for improved efficiency and accuracy in parts handling. * Oversee core returns and vendor communications as well as work with warranty for parts-related warranty claims * Maintain clean, organized, and compliant parts storage areas * Cashiering for repair orders, as required * Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned to maintain business operations Qualifications: * Someone who is looking for a long-term position that is knowledgable about marine parts, takes care of customers, strong attention to detail, reliable, trustworthy and strong integrity * 3+ years experience in marine, automotive, or powersports parts operations (marine preferred). * Strong knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and components. * Familiarity with parts catalog systems (e.g., Cummins, Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Mercury, Kohler, Fischer Panda, Westerbeke, etc.). * Experience with Lightspeed DMS (CDK) and Microsoft Office Suite are a plus. * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, occasionally outdoor environment. * Technical or marine certification a plus. * Experience with forklift operation a plus.
