Overview Marianne's Rentals is seeking a motivated and personable Event Rental Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll guide clients through our expansive rental collection and help bring their unique event visions to life. From elegant weddings to high-impact corporate events, you'll be part of unforgettable moments. As an Event Rental Sales Consultant, you'll also be responsible for following up on quotes to ensure bookings are accurate and deliveries are scheduled on time. The position is primarily office-based, working at a desk to review and manage orders via online platforms, phone, and in-person appointments. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays (1-2 per month). Pay is based on relevant experience in the event industry Bonus: We are interested in hiring a bilingual candidate to better serve our diverse customer base -- Spanish/English fluency preferred! Responsibilities * Collaborate with clients to curate rental selections tailored to their event goals and personal style. * Develop a strong understanding of our inventory to confidently recommend creative and practical solutions. * Manage customer interactions efficiently -- including walk-ins, appointments, emails, voicemails, and online inquiries -- with professionalism and warmth. * Proactively upsell and suggest complementary items that enhance the client's event experience. * Ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through event completion. Qualifications * A polished, professional appearance and friendly, approachable demeanor. * A strong attendance record and reliability in all aspects of the role. * Excellent communication skills -- in person, over the phone, and via email. * Basic computer knowledge (training provided) and a willingness to learn the following tools: Goodshuffle, Event Designer (3D CAD program), Google Workplace (G-Suite) and Dropbox. After training, you'll be expected to manage your responsibilities independently with confidence.
