The Old Store at Grassy Creek Sales Associate Position Description Located in historic Grassy Creek on the NC/VA state line, the Old Store features local goods, crafts, gifts, a Christmas tree education center, and a large deck to sit a spell and enjoy the landscape. It is a new venture that just opened this spring. We are looking for a sales associate to welcome customers, guide them through the store, help them purchase products, and ensure they have a pleasant experience. The sales associate should have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer service experience. Responsibilities: * Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. * Maintain in-store displays, take inventory, and restock shelves. * Ensure store cleanliness. * Work with other staff to receive and unpack shipments. * Assist with special events. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent qualification. * Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred. * Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a retail environment preferred. * Customer service-oriented. * Familiarity with point of sale systems and other relevant technology. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. * Spanish speaking a plus.
