Bayou Pawn & Jewelry is looking for a motivated and outgoing candidate to fill the Pawnbroker/Sales associate position at our newest location. The position pays hourly. We are growing pawn shop chain in southeast Louisiana with 5 locations. No knowledge of the pawn business is required ; if you're an outgoing person we can teach you everything you need to know in order to become our next team member. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities

: - Welcome and identify customer needs - Explain products and services to customers - Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock. - Stocking and Pulling Inventory - Enter and process customer orders - Investigate and resolve customer complaints - Processing loans, extensions, and sales - Evaluate customer's items for loan value

Qualifications

: - Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Ability to build rapport with customers - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong negotiation skills - Some knowledge of firearms, jewelry, electronics, musical equipment, and tools is not required but is preferred. - Minimum 18 years of age - High School Diploma or GED - Must be able to lift 25 pounds About Bayou Pawn & Jewelry: Bayou Pawn & Jewelry has been in business for 33 years and is in the process of expanding. We currently have four locations in southeast Louisiana. Bayou Pawn & Jewelry is a family owned and operated company. Job Type: Full Time OR Part-Time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
