Mitlyng Electric, HVAC, Plumbing & Refrigeration is hiring a Sales & Marketing Director to drive growth across residential, light commercial and agricultural customers in West Central Minnesota. About Mitlyng Mitlyng Electric, HVAC, Plumbing & Refrigeration has been serving Montevideo and West Central MN since 1984, providing Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Commercial Refrigeration services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The team is known for friendly smalltown service, licensed and insured technicians, and ontime, costeffective work. Role Overview The Sales & Marketing Director will own the revenue growth strategy, build and manage the sales pipeline, and strengthen Mitlyng's brand presence across Montevideo and surrounding communities. This role is fulltime, based in Montevideo, MN, with regular inperson presence expected and some regional travel in West Central MN. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan to grow residential, farm, and light commercial service and install work across all trades. * Build and manage relationships with homeowners, farmers, small business owners, GCs, property managers, and facility managers in the region. * Generate and qualify leads, manage the CRM, and own the sales pipeline from inquiry to closed job. * Oversee marketing channels, including field marketing, digital advertising, direct mail, local advertising, social media, community sponsorships, and review generation. * Track and report on KPIs (leads, close rates, revenue, margin, job mix, marketing ROI) and make datadriven adjustments. * Represent Mitlyng at local events, builder/vendor shows, and community organizations to increase awareness and referrals. Qualifications * 3+ years of sales or sales/marketing experience in construction or construction-adjacent industries (preferred). 5+ years of sales/marketing experience in general (alternate) * Proven track record of growing revenue, managing a pipeline, and hitting targets in a service or projectbased business. * Strong understanding of residential and light commercial service markets in smalltown or regional settings. * Excellent communication, relationshipbuilding, and negotiation skills, with a handson approach to working with field and office teams. * Comfortable using CRM and basic marketing tools; experience with online reviews, local SEO, and social media marketing preferred. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel within West Central Minnesota.
