Job Overview We are seeking someone willing that is looking to work Friday and Saturdays. Are you friendly, kind and enjoy having conversations with strangers? Being able to chat up our customers is really important. Love sustainability and current fashion styles? If hired you will be buying and selling current trends from our customers. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and maintaining an organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse clientele. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of items * Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking * Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves as needed * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Assist in supervising store operations when needed, including supervising staff or training new team members * Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times * Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone Requirements * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar stores * Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette * Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and POS transactions * Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos effectively * Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases * Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Familiarity with retail POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about retail sales and customer engagement to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.
