Job Title: Account Manager - Chemicals Industry Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead sales and account management activities within specialized chemical product lines. This role focuses on managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong chemical industry experience, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to drive collaboration with both internal teams and customers. Key Responsibilities: Marketing & Strategy * Identify and capture growth opportunities in target markets. * Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activity. * Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans. * Coordinate with international business units to align strategy. * Prepare marketing and sales reports. Sales & Account Management * Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers. * Identify customer needs and ensure expectations are met. * Build strong, collaborative relationships to achieve mutual goals. * Develop sales strategies, manage pricing, forecasting, and budgets. * Drive revenue growth by targeting new and existing customers. * Ensure contracts are properly reviewed and compliant with legal requirements. * Maintain accurate sales forecasts and performance reports. Additional Responsibilities * Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and follow-up reporting. * Promote teamwork and knowledge-sharing across the organization. * Support Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. * Minimum 10 years of experience in the chemical industry. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Proven ability to think strategically and analyze complex data. * High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. * Strong customer service focus with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Flexibility to respond to changing business needs. Work Environment & Travel: * Office-based role with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas (PPE required in certain areas). * Some evening or weekend work may be required. * Domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time.
