Sales Representative (Contract) - Scientific Lab Supplies Overview Lab Pro Inc., a leading distributor of laboratory supplies and cleanroom products, is seeking a driven Sales Representative to grow our Southern California territory. This commission-based 1099 role is ideal for experienced sales professionals who excel at building relationships and developing new business in biotech, medical device, pharmaceutical, and research lab sectors. You'll represent a trusted brand with strong technical expertise and customer service, backed by full marketing and inside sales support to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities * Drive sales growth through prospecting, relationship-building, and account management. * Meet with lab managers, engineers, and procurement teams to assess supply needs. * Present Lab Pro's portfolio of cleanroom supplies, PPE, chemicals, tools, and equipment with professionalism and expertise. * Manage and grow existing accounts while expanding into new markets and facilities. * Collaborate with inside sales, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. * Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer demos to promote the Lab Pro brand. * Track opportunities, appointments, and performance using CRM tools. What We 're Looking For * Proven success in B2B sales , ideally within laboratory, cleanroom, or life science distribution. * Confident, professional communicator with strong closing and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated, disciplined, and entrepreneurial -- thrives working independently in the field. * Technically inclined and comfortable presenting product specifications and solutions. * Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and smartphone required.
