Job description Are you friendly, outgoing, and enjoy talking with people? We are looking for full time or part-time Lead Generator / Brand Ambassadors to represent the two brands we serve at Costco. Those who thrive: * are approachable and friendly (the best ones even have regular shoppers stop by to say hello) * have done a little bit of sales or customer service (it 's just the beginning of the sales cycle) * don't mind monotony and even appreciate the steadiness without having to do a lot of heavy lifting or tons of movement * have flexible schedules (more info below) Additional notes about scheduling (please read carefully): We have certain days each month where we are required to be in the store open to close for 3 to 4 days in a row , but the rest of the days are flexible. Those required days are already scheduled for the rest of the year. If we have 2 people who can share the long days, we find it works well. However, some motivated Lead Generators like the longer days, as those weeks typically give them 3-4 days off in a row weekly. We work with our people for the schedule that fits them best, and they work with us by committing to the days we are required to be there. Currently hiring for multiple locations, ideally someone with some willingness to rotate between 2 or 3 stores in the Greater Seattle Area. Must be able to work in multiple warehouses each week based on company needs. Employees will not be required to work at multiple warehouses in a single day. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Initiate conversation, smile, and talk with members. You will create a positive first impression, present our services, qualify members, and input their information into the system so that our office can follow up to schedule an appointment. This is not a high-pressure sales role. But it is also not a "sit on your phone and wait for people to talk to you" role either. REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: * MUST have a clean-cut professional appearance. * Smartphone is required-- no information can be written down, so must be fairly technologically savvy * Must have weekend and evening availability * Preferred: A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (you will need to bring table, standing mat, possibly chair, and some samples with you each day) * Preferred: Experience with lead generation is a plus but not required * Preferred: Customer service experience is a plus REQUIRED SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Each week, we will have 3-4 days when we are required to be at a warehouse open to close. For example, if we have a show on a weekend, our required hours will be: * Friday: 8:45-8:30 * Saturday: 8:45-7 * Sunday: 8:45-6 * Additional days available to reach 40 hours weekly Weekday shifts will be 8:45-8:30 with 2 meal breaks and 2 rest breaks included. Most weekday shows will run from Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday- Thursday. Weekend shows will always be Friday-Sunday.
