Job Summary Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is looking for a knowledgeable and charismatic Arborist Sales Representative to act as the primary bridge between our residential/commercial clients and our production crews. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position requires a deep technical understanding of tree biology, pathology, and structural integrity. You won't just be "selling jobs"--you will be diagnosing tree health, assessing risk, and prescribing professional solutions that enhance the safety and beauty of our local urban forest. Key Responsibilities * Client Consultation: Meet with property owners to evaluate tree health, identify pests/diseases, and provide expert recommendations. * Estimating & Proposals: Generate accurate digital estimates and work orders for pruning, removals, and Plant Health Care (PHC). * Project Management: Act as a liaison between the client and the production crew to ensure work is performed to the highest industry standards. * Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with residential clients, HOAs, and property managers to ensure repeat business. * Safety & Compliance: Ensure all proposed work aligns with ANSI A300 pruning standards and local environmental regulations. What We're Looking For * Arboricultural Expertise: You must know trees. An ISA Certified Arborist credential is highly preferred (or the ability to obtain it within 6 months). * Communication Skills: The ability to translate complex "tree talk" into clear, value-based recommendations for homeowners. * Self-Starter Mentality: High energy and the ability to manage your own schedule and sales pipeline. * Professionalism: A clean driving record and a polished appearance suitable for representing the company in the community. * Experience: [2-5+] years in the tree care industry (climbing or crew lead experience is a huge asset).
