Job Summary Metal Roof Contractors is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative / Business Development Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in growing our client base by connecting with architects, general contractors, and building owners, while promoting our full range of commercial metal roofing and wall panel solutions. We're looking for someone who enjoys making calls, building relationships, and representing our company at industry events. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and excited to help us expand our reach across Oklahoma and beyond. Responsibilities * Identify, track, and pursue new business opportunities with general contractors, architects, developers, and owners. * Make outbound calls to potential clients and follow up on incoming leads. * Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key industry contacts to encourage repeat business. * Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to represent Metal Roof Contractors and promote our services. * Collaborate with the estimating and marketing teams to ensure timely follow-up on project opportunities and proposals. * Maintain a strong understanding of Metal Roof Contractors' products, services, and capabilities. * Research and monitor bid lists, industry trends, and construction activity to identify potential projects. * Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals or presentations to clients when needed. * Track all communication, opportunities, and follow-up activities in CRM or internal systems. * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals as set by company leadership. Qualifications * Proven success in sales, business development, or customer relations -- construction industry experience preferred. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. * Comfortable making phone calls, attending events, and engaging new contacts. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and projects at once. * Self-motivated with a drive to exceed goals and contribute to company growth. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for meetings and events. Physical Demands * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, occasionally overhead. * Frequent use of office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines. * May sit for long periods of time without a break. * Required to bend, kneel, squat, climb ladder/stairs. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Requires normal range of hearing.
