Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products. * Process customer orders received by e-mail, phone and in-person. * Enter sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. * Assist customers in locating products within the store and provide product information and pricing. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter area and warehouse shelves. * Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock shelves accordingly. * Pick and pack orders for customer pickup or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting findings to management. * Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. * Inspect cylinders for defects/test date issues to ensure compliance with government/company policies * Must understand the hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks * Perform other related duties as necessary * Ability to lift 50lbs Required Skills: * Exceptional customer service skills.
