Job Description: The Outside Sales Territory Account Manager is responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts within the Mid-Atlantic Territory. This position requires independent judgment to pursue opportunities that align with CDM's core product offerings. Extensive travel is required, and the role must be supported by a designated home office in Huntsville, AL. Mid Atlantic region consists of Tampa, Melbourne, Northern Florida, Huntsville, Annapolis(MD), Charleston, Oak ridge(TN). Duties to Include: * Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic Region in Industrial, Medical and/or Defense markets. * Maintain and enhance existing customers in the assigned territory * Develop strong relationships with manufacturer's representatives and factory contacts within the defined region * Collaborate with marketing and product management to promote CDM's products and services * Ensure customer data and records are kept current and accurate in internal databases * Prepare and submit timely expense reports, call reports, and other assigned projects * Keep management and internal teams informed of relevant customer and sales activity Desired Skills & Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the Industrial, Medical or Defense Manufacturing Industry * Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience selling distribution products * Minimum of 3 years of CRM system usage * Clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the United States * Designated home office space required * 3 to 5 years of experience with connectors, wire, or value-added assemblies is required * Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field preferred, but not required. * Self-starter with strong motivation and teamwork orientation * Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills * Outstanding verbal and written communication * Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams Compensation: Competitive Base Salary with Uncapped Commissions Benefits: * Medical Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * PTO - Vacation, Personal, Sick time Company Description: CDM Inc. was founded in 1993 and specializes in the distribution of interconnect products, manufacturing of engineered cable assemblies and manufacturing of fabricated metalworks.
