Overview

: ONIN Staffing is hiring a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate for a 1st shift position in downtown Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face customer interaction, has counter service experience, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional, friendly service to customers at the sales counter

• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
• Provide basic information on turfgrass maintenance, irrigation, and grounds equipment
• Accurately process sales transactions and handle payments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area
• Work closely with team members to ensure excellent customer service Skills and Experience: Previous counter service or counter sales experience required or strongly preferred Experience in retail, customer service, or inside sales Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred Background in turf, landscaping, irrigation, or grounds maintenance is a plus
