Regional Construction Insurance Broker handling mid-to-large accounts is seeking an Account Manager to join our Construction team. The Account Manager will collaborate with the Account Executive to provide professional, white glove customer service and support to clients and producers in assisting the maintenance and growth of assigned and prospective accounts. This position is being offered as a path to eventually grow into an Account Executive in which you will assume the lead on handling accounts and further provide direction to the company. The agency is looking for a candidate who is willing to learn, grow, and help the office expand. Duties and Responsibilities: * Respond to client requests and questions regarding their insurance program * Utilize agency management system to document activities and pend open items for follow up * Assist Account Executive in Renewal and New Business Marketing * Prepare renewal certificates, Auto IDs, invoices * Renewal and New Business Processing including Acord Applications * Assist Claims and Surety Bond processing * Maintain strong company relationships with underwriters * Maintain a professional demeanor to support a positive public image. * Review and fulfillment of downstate construction contract insurance requirements Requirements: * 3 years minimum service/general agency/company experience * Knowledge of Applied Systems or similar * Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook * New York P&C License Other skills Preferred: * Complete Claims handling * Prior bonding work * IT proficient to assist office function * Notary experience is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
