Home Town Kauai is a locally owned artisan boutique and makerspace located in the heart of Kapaa. We're more than just a shop -- we're a creative hub that celebrates local artists, handmade goods, and the spirit of community. Our space features a thoughtfully curated selection of locally made art, apparel, and gifts, alongside a vibrant makerspace where we partner with local artisans to host hands-on workshops in pottery, printmaking, jewelry, and more. At Home Town Kauai, creativity and connection come together to inspire both residents and visitors alike. We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and community-minded team member who is passionate about Hawaii's creative culture and loves connecting with people. As part of our Home Town Kauai 'ohana, you'll help create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest, share the stories behind our local artists and makers, and support the day-to-day rhythm of our boutique. Key Responsibilities: * Welcome customers with aloha and provide helpful, knowledgeable assistance * Share the stories and craftsmanship behind local artists and products * Process sales transactions accurately through our Shopify POS system * Restock, merchandise, and maintain an organized and beautiful shop environment * Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that reflects Home Town Kauai values Qualifications * Passion for art, handmade goods, and local community * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented * Comfortable using Shopify POS (training provided) Perks & Environment * Creative, supportive, and community-driven workspace * 25 % employee discount * Opportunity to learn about local artists and creative practices * Potential for growth within a locally loved small business Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
