Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sales and Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, promote our products, and support their needs through effective communication. Although service is an important aspect to any small business, your main focus will be in acquisition of new policyholders--sales and closing leads. You will work closely with the agent, me, to define strategies, target leads and identify marketing opportunities. A can-do enthusiasm and proactive approach will help foster strong client relationships, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation * Promote and sell products or services by explaining features, benefits, and solutions tailored to customer requirements * Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills * Provide comprehensive customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering personalized assistance * Maintain accurate data entry records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and service requests using Microsoft Office tools or other software * Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions while adhering to company policies * Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and foster ongoing relationships for future business opportunities Skills * Strong sales skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence customer decisions * Creative approach to sales and marketing to augment referrals and marketing strategies. No idea should be left unsaid! * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and patience in handling various client interactions * Prior experience and licensing in insurance, especially in life insurance is highly desired. * Exceptional communication skills both over the phone and in person, ensuring clarity and professionalism at all times * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) along with solid computer skills for data entry and record keeping * Experience in outbound calling or call center environments is preferred for managing high-volume interactions efficiently--though this is NOT a call center atmosphere! * Strong analysis skills to assess customer needs, identify solutions, and improve service delivery * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality and security of financial information * Typing speed and accuracy to facilitate quick data entry during busy periods * Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency in English plus additional languages are highly valued for effective communication with diverse clients.
