About the Role The Regional Sales Manager - Data Center Sales represents the company in the market, demonstrating the sales and technical expertise required to position our solutions as the preferred choice for access floor systems, containment systems, and value-added products. What You 'll Do * Promote company products to meet or exceed assigned sales targets. * Identify project opportunities early and develop strong visibility over the order pipeline. * Influence product preference through technical specification promotion. * Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, contractors, dealers, and other key project decision-makers. * Manage the bid and budgeting process, including understanding specifications, project scope, and competitive pricing. * Deliver product presentations to increase market penetration of underfloor service distribution design. * Support architectural and engineering stakeholders with project details, specifications, best practices, and lessons learned. * Prepare accurate cost estimates to support competitive bid recommendations. * Make pricing decisions based on margin goals, production considerations, and market conditions. * Manage distribution within the assigned territory, targeting a market share of 65%+. * Support dealer positioning to ensure they are preferred suppliers and installers of company products. * Maintain strong and trusted relationships with dealers, ensuring open and effective communication. * Collaborate with Customer Service teams to ensure timely support for pricing, product, and logistics requests. * Maintain accurate project tracking, pricing, contacts, and activity logs in Salesforce CRM. * Participate in monthly sales calls to discuss progress, pipeline, challenges, and competitive intelligence. * Review monthly booking, backlog, and sales activity reports. * Attend industry associations and networking events to create new opportunities and strengthen relationships. * Provide cross-territory support to other Regional Sales Managers when required. * Adhere to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance requirements. * Report any unsafe conditions, quality issues, or compliance concerns promptly. Additional Expectations * Maintain full compliance with internal policies, including corporate Code of Conduct and compliance requirements. * Follow all product compliance processes according to applicable laws, regulations, and market standards. * Ensure responsibilities assigned within the Compliance Management System are executed fully. * Immediately escalate any compliance concerns through the appropriate reporting channels. What You 'll Bring * Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales or technical sales role. * Experience within the architectural or data center industry is highly desirable. * Experience selling products into the data center market is an advantage. * Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, customers, and dealers. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. * Ability to work from a home office with regular travel throughout the assigned region and occasional travel to corporate offices. * Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
