Preferred Education/Qualifications/Skills: * * Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications. * In-depth knowledge of benefit programs, compliance, and regulations. * Demonstrated ability to manage key client relationships, negotiate with carriers, and provide strategic advice on employee benefit plans. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to consult with producers, clients, carriers, and internal teams, along with negotiation skills to secure favorable terms. * Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report. * Possess a Life and Health License. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for managing complex client accounts, leading the development and execution of employee benefit programs, and providing strategic consulting to clients. This role requires advanced knowledge of self-funded benefits plans, compliance regulations, and industry trends. The Senior Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions that align with client objectives while mentoring teammates. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and client relationship skills are essential for success in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Client Relationship Management * Manage and oversee complex employee benefit programs, specifically focused on self-funded plans for large clients. * Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring overall client satisfaction. * Conduct benefit plan analysis and present recommendations for plan design, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance adherence. * Lead benefit plan implementations and renewals, coordinating efforts between producers, clients, vendors, and internal teams. Be the primary contact for diverse clients, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction. * Coordinate with customer relations on all eligibility and claim related issues to ensure timely resolution. Team Performance and Accountability: * Adhere to established company timelines for client meetings and renewals by coordinating effectively with the appropriate parties, including carrier partners, producers, and team members. * Foster departmental growth through promotion, training, and collaboration, aimed at enhancing the skillsets of teammates. * Inspire, assist, and recognize the endeavors of fellow team members in the department, serving as a role model. * Coordinate tasks and initiatives for designated accounts alongside other team members. Consultation & Strategic Planning: * Anticipate future challenges and propose proactive, forward-thinking strategies that help clients stay competitive and compliant with changing regulations. * Design cost-efficient plans that balance employee satisfaction and manage expenses. * Develop long-term benefit plans that anticipate future challenges and regulatory shifts for sustainability. * Analyze the market for optimal solutions and pricing, managing RFPs, negotiations, and proposals. * Analyze benefit programs, claims data, and financial reports for data-driven recommendations. * Present periodic reports on program performance to clients on quarterly basis for large groups. Compliance & Documentation * * Deep understanding of key regulations and state-specific rules related to employee benefits. * Current on changes in legislation and compliance requirements, ensuring that all benefit plans adhere to the latest laws and standards. * Ensure all necessary documentation, such as plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and notices, are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements. * Maintain organized records and documentation to support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of internal client database, which includes Brokerage Builder, and EPIC. Leadership & Mentoring: * Mentor and guide teammates, fostering professional development and ensuring the highest level of service across all client interactions. * Collaborate with internal teams, including client relations and sales, to drive operational efficiency and improve overall client experience.Dillingham Insurance
