Sales & Service Associate (Hybrid Technician) Meineke Car Care Center - Renton (Store 2385) Full-Time Job Summary: Meineke Renton is hiring a Sales & Service Associate (Hybrid Technician) who can support both the front counter and the back shop. This role is ideal for a C-Tech or B-Tech level technician who is confident speaking with customers, answering phones, providing excellent service, and performing essential automotive maintenance. This position requires flexibility, approximately 60% back shop and 40% front counter and the ability to step into whichever area the business needs throughout the day. The role also includes covering one full day per week for the Store Manager and assisting with daily operations when needed. Responsibilities: Back Shop (Approx. 60%) * Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance * Tire rotations and tire repairs * Fluid exchanges (coolant, transmission, brake fluid, etc.) * Brake services (pads/rotors) * Valve cover gaskets and similar light-to-mid repairs * Perform vehicle alignments * Complete multipoint digital inspections with accuracy Front Counter (Approx. 40%) * Greet customers with professionalism and a positive attitude * Clearly communicate service needs and timelines * Answer phones with strong etiquette and confidence * Make outbound calls for scheduling and follow-ups * Present service options, maintenance packages, and promotions * Support customer check-in, check-out, and CRM updates Operational Support: * Assist Store Manager with daily workflow and communication * Cover one scheduled day per week for the Manager * Provide leadership support during scheduling conflicts or staffing gaps Requirements: * Automotive experience at C-Tech or B-Tech level * Strong communication and customer service skills * Professional phone etiquette and confident call handling * Ability to flex between front counter and back shop tasks as needed * Reliable, organized, and able to multitask * Positive attitude and willingness to learn Benefits: * Health, Dental, Vision insurance * Employee discount * Advancement opportunities * Five-day work week * Supportive team environment Compensation: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) If you want a role that combines customer interaction with hands-on automotive work -- and you're ready to grow in a hybrid position -- apply today to join Meineke Renton (Store 2385).
