Territory Sales Representative -- Natural Stone Location: Stamford, CT (region covers Lower New England + NYC) | Work Type: Field-based with showroom/client visits | Company: NY Based Stone Distributor Take the next step in your sales career with a leader in premium natural stone. Are you a seasoned stone sales pro who knows how to build and grow milliondollar books with fabrication shops? Do you thrive in facetoface selling with fabricators, architects, designers, and developers across a highpotential territory? If so, this Territory Sales Representative role could be a perfect fit. Why This Opportunity * Sell a worldclass portfolio. we source marble, granite, onyx, quartzite, sandstone, slate, and more for A+D clients, with a reputation built since 1992. (NY showrooms & slab center support your meetings.) * Stand out with sustainability. Include Stonethica -- ecosustainable slabs made from recycled stone offcuts -- a compelling spec for architects and designers. * Own an indemand territory. Lower New England (CT, MA, parts of VT, NY, NH) plus the greater NYC area. * Top earnings. $125,000-$150,000 base + 3% on paid and delivered sales. Total OTE $175,000-$210,000 depending on your book. * Benefits + support. Full benefits package and phone reimbursement, plus robust showroom resources and inventory visibility for client presentations. What You'll Do * Picture this: you step into a fabricator's shop in Stamford with fresh slabs and samples, consult on colors and finishes, and map next steps to win the PO. * Host designers at the showroom to spark specs on current and upcoming projects, then follow through with materials, pricing, and samples. * Develop new business through targeted calls, site visits, and local networking while growing key accounts across fabricators, A+D firms, builders, and developers. * Run a clean pipeline in Salesforce. Track activity, forecast accurately, and keep followups tight. * Be the face of our company at industry events and client presentations across Lower New England and NYC. What You Bring * Proven success in outside sales within the stone industry, preferably managing at least a $1M+ annual stone book of business. * Deep product knowledge across marble, granite, onyx, and exterior/hardscape materials. * Territory development, relationship building, and consultative selling skills. * CRM proficiency; Salesforce preferred. * Experience with landscape designers and hardscape clients (preferred).
