  • Senior Regional Sales Account Manager Department: Sales Location: Houston and/or Midland/Odessa, TX (role requires being based in one of these regions and covering both markets as needed) Must have Oil & Gas Experience Industry Summary The Senior Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for leading sales growth and customer relationships across the Houston and Midland/Odessa regions. This role owns regional account strategy, drives revenue and profitability, and serves as a senior commercial and technical resource for customers utilizing plunger lift solutions. The position requires a highly self-directed sales professional who can operate independently while aligning closely with senior leadership, including the Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities
  • Own and grow key customer relationships across the assigned region to drive long-term retention and revenue growth.
  • Lead regional business development efforts by identifying, pursuing, and closing new customer opportunities.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Travel regularly within the Houston and Midland/Odessa markets to visit existing and prospective customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer production challenges and recommending appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training related to plunger lift solutions.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close sales within approved guidelines.
  • Manage customer inquiries, cancellations, and service requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Provide post-sale support and coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure customer success.
  • Analyze regional sales performance, market trends, and cost structures to identify growth opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed regional sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data in CRM systems.
  • Support marketing initiatives by attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical experts on custom solutions and complex customer challenges.
  • Prepare and submit sales tickets, reports, and forecasts accurately and on time.
  • Stay current on new products, market trends, and sales techniques through ongoing education. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • College degree preferred.
  • Significant Oil & Gas sales experience required; artificial lift experience strongly preferred.
  • Plunger lift and PAGL operations and optimization experience strongly preferred.
  • Production operations knowledge and technical sales background highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Candidates transitioning directly from unemployed production engineering roles are not a fit for this position. Ideal Candidate Competencies

Requirements
  • Frequent use of hands and arms (approximately 60% of the time).
  • Regular periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 65 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work in outdoor well site environments, including exposure to heat and cold.
Work Environment
  • Majority of time spent driving within the region and visiting customer locations.
  • Moderate noise levels.
  • Must complete and comply with all customer-required safety training for well site access. Mental / Visual
