A Commercial Lines Producer is responsible for identifying and soliciting sales prospects from various sources. They should become an expert in the products that the agency markets and should exhibit the values that align with the organizations. Producer is responsible for managing relationships with active clients, working with account management and other service personnel to deliver consistent value. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Meet new business production goals and objectives as established. * Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources. * Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements. * Generating insurance quotes. * Be outstanding at relationship building. * Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty. * Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases. * Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client's goals. * All other duties as required or requested. Education/Qualifications/Skills: * Minimum of three years-experience in property and casualty production - preferred. * Property & Casualty License - within 30 days of joining firm. * Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable. * Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. * Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency. * Create relationships from a cold start. * Be a fantastic presenter. * Prior sales experience. * Must be highly self-motivated. * Career minded vision. * Successful sales background. * Must possess and maintain a valid driver's
