Territory Sales Manager - Eastern Midwest (IN, OH, MI, KY)

About the Role

A leading steel service center is seeking experienced Territory Sales Managers to cover the Eastern Midwest -- specifically Eastern Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. The right candidate will have established relationships in these regions and experience selling steel (flat, tube, or fabrication products) . We're looking for individuals who are versatile, motivated, and able to win new accounts while growing existing business.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in an under-served territory with existing but underdeveloped accounts.
• Develop new customer relationships and expand wallet share with current customers.
• Sell across multiple product lines (steel, tube, fabrication).
• Consistently exceed quota expectations, with strong focus on margin growth.
• Collaborate with leadership and operations to deliver top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in metals/steel, distribution, or fabrication.
• Track record of new account acquisition and territory growth.
• Strong existing customer relationships in IN/OH/MI/KY preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to thrive in a competitive, growth-focused environment.

• Base salary $75K -$150K depending on experience (with potential for higher one-year guarantees for proven producers).
• Monthly uncapped commission structure:
• Steel: 1%
• Tube: 1.5%
• Fabrication: 2%
• Solid performers currently on track to earn $225K -$290K in 2025, but has been higher in stronger years (350k+) ind1
