SHR Talent is partnering with a logistics client in Chattanooga, TN in its search for a Director of International Sales & Operations. The Director of International Sales & Operations is a senior leadership role that is responsible for driving global revenue growth while optimizing international logistics and operational performance across air, ocean, and ground freight. The Director of International Sales & Operations will align sales strategy with end-to-end supply chain operations, lead high-performing commercial and operations teams, expand international markets, and ensure compliance with global trade regulations. The Director of International Sales & Operations position plays a critical role in scaling a customer-centric, data-driven logistics organization through strategic partnerships, process excellence, and Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership and requires a strategic, results-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence and customer success. Applicants need to have a strong sales background and be able to work well within a multifaceted team while leading that team, along with being growth- minded and looking to make a career with this client rather than a 2 - 3 year stop. Responsibilities: * Lead and execute international sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across global logistics services * Oversee international operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective end-to-end supply chain execution * Own Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization for international sales and operations * Build, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and operations teams across multiple regions * Develop strategic relationships with global carriers, agents, and partners to enhance service capabilities and competitiveness * Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, finance, customer service, and technology teams to improve customer experience and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import and export laws * Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and data analytics to drive pipeline management, sales performance, and operational efficiency * Identify process improvements, technology enhancements, and scalable systems to support growth * Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership Qualifications: * Must have Qualified Individual for the Company's FMC License ability, Customs and Border experience, and, moving International Freight * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field * Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferred * 5+ years of total experience, with 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in international sales and operations within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management * 3+ years of Ocean and Freight Forwarding experience * Proven track record of driving international revenue growth and managing complex global operations * Strong understanding of global logistics services, customs compliance, and international trade regulations * Demonstrated experience with Profit & Loss (P&L) management, strategic planning, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)-driven performance * Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels * Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and logistics management systems * Ability to travel internationally, as needed IND123SHR Talent
