TrueMed Pharmacy is a mission-driven, Midwest long-term care pharmacy serving skilled nursing, assisted living, and residential care communities with reliable medication management, clinical support, and responsive service. Our organization partners closely with care providers to improve outcomes for residents and streamline pharmacy operations across the continuum of care. Position The Director of Sales is responsible for owning TrueMed's growth strategy and sales execution across its long-term care markets. This leader will define market priorities, cultivate executive-level relationships with facility operators, and drive sustainable revenue growth through disciplined planning, consultative engagement, and strategic account expansion. The role combines leadership, field selling, and business development strategy. Key Responsibilities * Develop and lead the enterprise sales strategy, growth plans, and market expansion initiatives. * Build and manage a high-value pipeline of long-term care and senior care facility opportunities. * Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with administrators, operators, and clinical leadership. * Lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and onboarding coordination with internal stakeholders. * Represent TrueMed at industry events, association forums, and market development activities. * Provide sales forecasting, performance reporting, and market intelligence to leadership. * Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, pharmacy services, and clinical support to ensure a seamless client experience. * (Future-state) Contribute to sales team structure and capability development. Qualifications Required * Degree in business, healthcare administration, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). * Minimum 5+ years of progressive sales experience in healthcare services, pharmacy, or long-term care markets with a documented track record of revenue growth and account expansion. * Demonstrated success selling into care facility environments (SNF, AL, LTC, or related segments). * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Proficiency with CRM tools * Ability to travel 25-30%. Preferred * Prior leadership or strategic growth responsibility (e.g., leading markets, initiatives, or small teams). * Deep understanding of LTC workflows, medication management operations, and facility decision dynamics. * Experience developing or refining structured sales processes or go-to-market programs.
