Overview We are seeking a results-driven Solar - Sales Manager to lead our team in the rooftop solar sector. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage operations, drive sales growth, and foster a high- performance culture. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the market and demonstrate exceptional ability to work with other stakeholders. Our field sales teams help residential subscribers reduce their energy expenses through enrollments for community solar, and often, schedule those customers for rooftop consultations - this will be the first source of some leads monthly, on top of you and your team's outreach through residential canvassing, and other digital efforts. If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Solar - Sales Manager. Position Overview As the Rooftop Solar Sales Manager your duties will include: * Developing sales training tools for rooftop solar sales (setting and closing) * Training of field sales leaders and consultants; lead, mentor and coach * Engage in outside sales activities if needed, including door-to-door outreach, to expand customer base * Oversee daily operations of the division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives * Work with installers and EPCs to get projects to completion * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. * Collaborate with Digital Team on digital marketing campaign(s) * Analyze performance metrics to assess team effectiveness and implement improvements as needed * Work with recruiter to scale the field agent base Perks of the role: * Salary ($40-48,000 yearly; doe) plus commission * On-target earnings 1st year: $100,000-150,000+ * Health share option * Health Reimbursement Account, up to $2000 yearly * 401k and up to 3.5% match * Personal training reimbursement, up to $1500 yearly * 2 paid, all-inclusive incentive vacations yearly for sales team members (July 4th & New Year's weeks) Requirements * Proven experience in managing or leading an outside sales team, preferably in the renewable energy industry * Strong knowledge of sales principles and attitude required to be successful * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members * Excellent communication skills; bilingual (spanish) abilities are a plus * Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction. * Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions based on trends. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
