As an Outside Sales Consultant , you will be the face of our company, building relationships with prospective customers and helping them transform their homes. You'll use your keen design eye and sales expertise to guide clients through our product offers, from initial consultation to final installation, ensuring a high-quality, seamless experience. WHAT 'S IN IT FOR YOU * Competitive Base plus Commission: $30,000/year Base; Earn up to 7% commission on sales. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Consultation & Sales: * Conduct in-home and showroom consultations to understand customer needs and present our products and services. * Actively work the showroom floor to engage with customers and convert leads into profitable sales. * Consistently meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals. * Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales and production process. * Performance coaching with Sales Leader on Rilla virtual training sessions Business Development: * Actively generate new leads through personal referrals, social networking, canvassing, and other viable methods. * Work assigned hours in the office, showroom, and at special events to maximize sales opportunities. * Constantly refine and improve your sales techniques to stay competitive and effective. Project Management & Administration: * Draft clear, accurate, and professional sales contracts, drawings, and change orders when needed. * Ensure all verbal agreements are clearly documented to prevent misunderstandings. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product and pricing changes. * Keep sales materials organized and professional. * Timely submit required reports, including sales activity logs, lead reports, and forecasts. Team Collaboration: * Communicate proactively with the production department and company management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. * Assist with customer collections when necessary. * Advise your supervisor of any opportunities to improve company profitability, competitiveness, or safety policies. PRE-REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION: * Experience: Proven experience as a successful Sales Consultant (at least 2 years' experience) * Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. * Technical Skills: You are proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Word and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn new software and internal systems. * Communication: Excellent verbal and presentation skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. * Time Management: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility: The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: * Physical ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. * The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. * Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. * Correctable vision and hearing.
