Position Summary The Account Executive is responsible for coordinating with customers and vendors to put on events under the direction of the General Manager and Operations Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Work with customers to organize, setup and follow up on an event 2. Work with Operations to setup and close events to the customer's specifications including the organization of all necessary equipment and materials 3. Generate preliminary reports in a timely manner for operations and administration 4. Required to go to show sites at any required time from start to close of events 5. Handle all billing and documentation in a timely manner 6. Performs other duties as required Work Conditions Indoors in an air-conditioned office, outdoors in a non-air-conditioned warehouse and job sites o Equipment Use: Requires the use of typewriter, computer, calculator, tradeshow equipment and telephone o Work Hours: Monday through Sunday, all hours as required Mental Demands Must be organized and attentive to detail. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and be able to meet deadlines under pressure Physical Demands Must be able to sit at a workstation for up to 4 hours at a time and perform other physical activities as required Communication Demands Must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and be able to build rapport with customers and other employees in a professional manner Minimum Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred) * Hawaii State Driver's License and have access to reliable transportation to travel between shows and events * 3 years tradeshow and/or convention services set-up or similar work experience preferred * Previous customer service experience required * Must possess good communication and public relations skills * Basic office and computer skills Work Hours * Hours are varied and work schedule requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.
